Fishing with the Dolphins

Today, my friend Kelly and I went fishing in Tampa Bay. We lost track of how many fish we caught at 30, but we're confident we hit at least 60 and maybe as many as 100. We found a "honey hole," that was full of ladyfish. After a while, a family of dolphins joined our adventure. They noticed we were catching fish. They would follow the fish to the boat and wait for us to take them off the hook and give them back to the dolphin to eat. We did this for nearly two hours. Here are some pictures of the adventure. You can see the dolphin all around the boat, and a couple of them underneath the fish as I'm pulling the fish out of the water.

Florida Landscapes

Yesterday, Dad and I took my five youngest to Hillsborough State Park and took photos of "old Florida." That is, Florida without the footprint of mankind. Here are some shots I took.

Fly fishing photos

I've always wanted to take some nice pictures of my fly rod and reel. I finally got around to it during the Christmas break. For an amatuer, they turned out pretty nice.

Christmas 2008

Well, another year has come to an end. My family has been blessed this year. We bought a new home with enough bedrooms and family rooms to accommodate our large family. We sent Joseph on a mission. And Amanda and Victor came for a visit this summer.

It is with a deep-felt gratitude that I celebrate the birth of my Savior and remember the priceless gifts he has given me.

Starting out

This is my first post.
